Optys helps where it is needed
We support charitable organizations and associations
Including, the Junák Association – the Czech Scouting Association of Opava, Česká tábornická unie (the Czech Union of Campers) and the psychiatric hospital in Opava, to which we provide financial donations. Since December 2021 we have been among the important donors and permanent supporters of Strom Života (Tree of Life) mobile hospice.
Currently, we are also helping Ukrainians who have had to leave their homes
- In March 2022 we joined the organizers of the traditional children's clothing exchange in Bolatice and bought clothes and shoes to the value of 50 000 CZK. We then handed over the raised funds to the non-profit organization Moment, which distributes material assistance to Ukrainian mothers in Ostrava in Černá louka.
- We also offered our premises in Rybářská Street as emergency accommodation for refugees. We officially handed over those premises to the emergency staff of the Opava City Authority on Tuesday April 5th.
- The premises now serves as an information and community centre refugees, providing material assistance and accommodates a temporary surgery for a general practitioner for Ukrainians. For details, please see the official press release of the Municipality..
Contributing to society through social responsibility Optys has been contributing to the development of the region since the beginning of its existence. And we intend to continue this work.
